Casa San TELMO
The Casa San Telmo was one of the first houses built in Santa Cruz de La Palma. The building was always lived in and also accomodated a shop or a small home manufacture: for instance, wax figurines for the local church were made here. The Casa San Telmo was the seat of one of La Palmas first daily papers and the birth place of the famous painter Manuel González Méndez. Since it was built some 350 years ago, the old house has been renovated and expanded several times. The patio and the garden were built in various stages, most recently in 2005 along with the Hotel San Telmo.
